Is “Happiness,” Love & Healthy Relationships a Skill?

We’ve experienced it or seen it…

Someone who loves the other is screaming at the top of their lungs, furious.

It may be a spouse, parent, girlfriend/boyfriend or friend.

We’ve also experienced or witnessed a person beating up on themselves in much the same counterproductive manner.

How do you communicate with someone who disagrees with you on topics that are important, which you are passionate about, without losing it when the other person pushes back or appears offensive?

How do you guide someone you’d like to positively influence from one perspective, which you see as harmful or destructive, to another perspective, and see them willing to follow you there, rather than resist? How do you do it without manipulation or tricks, but instead, transparently and openly?

How can you lead yourself in much the same way, from where you are now, to where you want to be?
