Align yourself with how you make your living & you’ll find yourself thriving in the New Economy!
Like most kids, I considered what I'd “be” when I grew up.
But I recall feeling an overwhelming sense of responsibility with it.
Perhaps it was because my mom had me read the Bible–the one with pictures.
She was a faithful Christian.
My father was an analytical engineer (grounded in principle; but not religious).
For some reason or another, I’ve always desired living a life with purpose; and found meaning in simple wisdom…
Like:
- We get more when we look for MORE
- We get less when we believe there is less
- Giving and receiving are interconnected, as are we
- You reap what you sow
- Live in accordance to what you believe
- Be the change you want to see
There are more, of course, but many overlap into a purposeful message:
"Your life matters & you CAN make a difference"
This idea, valued throughout many cultures and histories, resonated with me when I was young, as it does now.
But, as many have experienced, I struggled finding peace with this “knowing.”
I have always been passionate about life:
As I watched the news and images of war, hunger and political propaganda over and over, I somehow felt, by age nine, one day I would try to do ‘something’ to make it all make more sense.
The atrocities of our time ate at me.
